2016 Taittinger Regatta

Once again this relaxed, fun regatta and the complex tidal conditions of the Western Solent didn't disappoint. All three scheduled races were completed although the first one was held in fiendishly light conditions when tidal strategy was all important. Sigma 38s racing was as tight as ever and all six competing boats did the class proud contending with very difficult situations and demonstrating the meaning of being "well sailed". Each race was won by a different boat, four different boats achieved podium positions, each boat scored at least a fourth, and everyone had an "absolutely fabulous" time!
